Online Catalog: Your one-stop finding aid for any of the items housed in either of the CJC libraries. The Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) lists and provides searching capability for finding over 30,000 items with their location (call number), check-out status, and other information. Item formats currently listed include books, CDs, DVDs, microfilms, print periodicals, and VHS tapes. You may also place holds on checked out items and create your own profile space to store customized searches and bibliographies (title lists) for review and printing.

Periodicals List: Here is a current list of the print periodicals available in the libraries with information on which issues we have, whether they are bound, loose or in microfilm, and where to find them. We also have access to to the full text online of thousands more through our Online Databases.
Special Collections: The Maner Library houses several special collections, including:
Texas Collection: Funded by an endowment established by the Library's namesake, Leon Maner, this collection features books about the southwestern United States with special emphasis on Texas, Texans, and books by Texas authors (especially local authors). (Items listed in the Online Catalog and housed in the Texas Room).
Randy Steffen Collection: These books belonged to and were used for inspiration by the late artist for his drawings, paintings and bronze sculptures dealing with western, cavalry and Native American themes. (Items listen in the Online Catalog and housed in the Texas Room).
James E. Sauls Plate Collection: These decorative plates were presented to the Maner Library by Nan Sauls and feature paintings by Norman Rockwall and other artists. (Displayed in cases in the library).
Henry Callaway Arrowhead Collection: An extensive collection of over 1400 artifacts collected from Callahan, Eastland, and Stephens counties by Mr. Callaway over some 50 years. (Displayed in the Texas Room).
Bible Replica Collection: Replicas of famous early editions of the most published book in history. (Displayed in a case in the library).
Musical Scores: These are shelved at the Information Desk and are listed in the Online Catalog.
Online Databases: All of the libraries' subscription online resources are available through links on this web page. A single login and password (available from the reference personnel for all CJC students, faculty and staff) gets you into the page hosted on the Texshare website specifically for CJC. The databases feature indexing, abstracts, article full-text, and thousands of electronic books. Check out the Online Searching Tutorial for help in finding information efficiently in these resources.
Reserves: Items set aside specifically by an instructor for a specific class, available at the library on the appropriate campus. Some reserves are available electronically through the "Library" class in WebCT.
CJC and Local History Archives: A collection of primary source materials for history related to the Cisco area and CJC in particular.
